FORMATIVE HISTORY

Canberra Noahides was a spiritual idea founded in 1999 in Greenhaven Court in Hughes in Canberra in the Woden District, when I had first become a Noahide. The core idea was to build a Noahide movement for citizens of Canberra. The ideas progressed and things changed constantly, and the idea went astray. Ultimately I concluded on Karaite Noahide ideas, but this is going to have to go back and be the development of the original idea into plain old Biblical Noahide ideas, with its foundation now decided upon as being indeed established here in Canberra. The logic did like reading the Talmud based Noahide Books, but even then it was learned and judged that the Talmudic Noahide code was not authentic to the time of Noah, just manmade, and because it claims to be of the time of Noah, which this being untrue and thus a lie, I can't make any commitments for those ideas. They might be studied and associated with somewhat, but this will have to develop into biblical Noahidism. Morning Stars came along soon enough, but that has persevered and become established with the latter ideas of the Advancing Noah Movement, so there it rests. But the original Geocities websites went down, taken offline, yet they still have the original Short Story Collection. Now those stories are used in the Angels Saga in the ANM, but I will use them now as the foundation epics for this older work, and they will be part of the continuation of the older work with original and new concepts. Here is the link to them. In January 1999 I became a Noahide. I was working at AQIS at the time in Barton. I had been at home in Greenhaven court, and had come to believe that I didn't believe in Jesus anymore because there was not elect church established which taught Father and Son doctrine in Christianity, and Paul Saberton, who taught the doctrine, was caught up in Serpent Seed doctrine, which failed to impress me. It just didn't seem credible to my thinking that day that the it was the truth. So I accepted the old testament for the most part, and decided I probably needed to live by it in some way. That night I checked the sex laws of Leviticus, and visited a brothel concluding there was no specific judgment forbidding fornication, and God didn't rebuke me for it either. The following day, wandering in Fyshwick, God blasted my mind with the knowledge that Oneness doctrine of Christianity was an abomination, so that mostly ended the Christian impulse. Soon enough I had become Noahide, and was starting to get into the 7 Laws of Noah idea, but I bought Artscroll Tanakh's, read the Talmud quotes, and knew it was all unbiblical. I rejected it gradually, and when I found out about Karaism, I think finding it at work looking at the Karaite Korner website, I gradually developed the Karaite Noahide ideas. The Canberra Noahides idea is formed right around that time, and I think might have roots in the Talmudic Noahide idea, but, from memory, it is about the same weekend practically that I got the Artscroll Tanakhs that I was forming the Canberra Noahides ideas, and the 7 laws were rejected soon enough. So, essentially, the development of Canberra Noahides is all abou the biblical approach now, mainly sola scriptura I guess, and that is what it will be established on and continued with. Later on a few years later, when I was in Cooma, I had ideas for the Cooma Torah Fellowship, which was mainly just Pentateuchal ideas, but I have mostly accepted the Tanakh in my walk, so I may continue on with that idea and impulse in time, and link it in here, which will still be called the Cooma Torah Fellowship, based on studies of the Tanakh. Cooma Torah Fellowship (CTF) was fantasized as being established near the basketball courts in Cooma, across the road from the Little Theatre, near the SMEC thing there. I guess, if I can eventually get it established, that is where it will go. I thought about those ideas on a bus trip coming back from Cooma to Canberra one time. I remember when I moved to Greenhaven Court, leaving Chifley, and Peter Fletcher found my flat one day. I discussed thing on Noahidism with Peter Fletcher in the early days, and Aaron Goodsell came into the faith, and I talked with my family about it, as well as Paul Saberton and Brenton White and Chris White, and various people at AQIS. Jenny Belcher from the UPC was talked to on the subject, and later on she thought it was called 'Nammahide'. When I was unwell in Dandenong hospital in 2001, just after the 911 incident, I gave out some copies of the Tanakh, one to an Indian (Asia) lady, and one to a Mormon fellow I think. I probably discussed the Noahide ideas with them as well. The Indian lady was given a painting I did in hospital at that time also. I fellowshipped with June Cantrell, a Melbourne Noahide in those early years, as met Shimon Cohen, the Noahide Rabbi in Melbourne, and Frances Makarova. I was sort of part of the 7 Laws Noahide community in some ways for a bit, but it became clear enough it was not really going to be my destiny. Assembly name ideas came and went throughout the 00s, and nothing really got too established, but when Haven Noahide Fellowship formed and stabilised, which eventually became part of the Advancing Noah Movement, I had found core foundations which didn't really progress any more or move on, and most of all that information is extant. The early years, though, there are some fragmentary traces of it online, primarily in Google groups, so from the best of my memories of those early ideas I will continue on and establish the older world of my Noahidism. In relation to the Advancing Noah Movement and its doctrine and teaching ( http://noahidebooks.angelfire.com ) it is the judgement of myself that those interested from the Canberra Noahides movement may gradually study such information and learn from it, once they have developed sufficient enough spiritual growth in their own particular Canberra Noahides Assembly. Prior to any world to come situation eventing, anyone can still become a member of the ANM, but it appears that in the world to come becoming a member of the ANM is reserved for people with rights to join that movement. However, for biblical noahides, anyone can join our movement at any future time in the world to come. Thus learning from ANM in a post world to come situation is through proper spiritual development and growth in your chosen Canberra Noahides Assembly, and it is only a secondary type of spiritual knowledge and learning that you are allowed to gain spiritually from such studies.

DEVELOPING INTO DECIARCHAL BIBLICAL DENOMINATIONS

For a while now my thought has been to develop doctrine in the name of the Deciarchs, Adam, Seth, Enosh, Cainan, Mahalalel, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech and Noah. So I have made a decision today that each of the Biblical Noahide denominations will have an official Deciarch which represents the faith of the denomination, and in which the denomination is also named in honour of. The corresponding Deciarch is responsible as the patriarchal overseer for these denominations, who bear their name, and function in their honour. They are entitled to any tithe or offerings from the head chapter of the denomination. The denomination for each denomination is listed below, and the Mastering the Walk Denomination is in honour of all 10 Deciarchs.
